How does the Crossback Apron fit?
Our Crossback Apron is designed for comfort and adaptability. The crossback straps rest on your shoulders instead of your neck — helping prevent neck strain, even during long hours of wear.
It can feel a bit tricky to put on the first time, but once you adjust the straps to your size and preferred fit, it naturally “remembers” how you like to wear it. The adjustable design adapts to all body types and allows full freedom of movement — perfect for spending hours in the kitchen, studio, or workshop without needing to take it off.
Whats the difference between Twill and Heavy Twill fabrics?
Both our Twill and Heavy Twill aprons are crafted from tightly woven upcycled and natural cotton blend— a durable weave that naturally resists spills and stains while aging beautifully with use.
The difference comes down to personal preference:
• Twill: A bit lighter and softer from the start. It drapes comfortably and moves easily, making it a favorite for everyday cooking, baking, or creative work.
• Heavy Twill: Slightly thicker with a more structured feel. It offers extra durability and a crisp look that many chefs, makers, and design lovers prefer.
Both are built to last — equally suited for home kitchens or professional environments — it just depends on how you like your apron to feel.
How do I care of MEEMA Aprons?
Caring for your MEEMA aprons is simple — and helps them last for years:
- Machine wash in cold water.
- Avoid bleach to protect the natural fibers and colors.
- Tumble dry on low or hang dry for best results.
You may notice some minor shrinkage after the first wash — this is normal for cotton.
Why are MEEMA products sustainable?
All Meema products are made with at least 50% recycled cotton.
How do we do it? We rescue high-quality cotton scraps from garment factories — material that would otherwise end up in landfills — and transform them into beautiful, durable products for your home and kitchen. This process helps reduce textile waste, conserves water, and lowers energy consumption.
